It's Darwin Day!
Apparently, today is Chucky D's birthday. He'd have been 199 years old if he hadn't died a while back, though I imagine he'd be pretty wrinkly by now. In honour of the event, I bought Evolution (the Oxford Reader) edited by Mark Ridley, and also have a copy of The Origin of Species that I will read (eventually).

Poo...I missed it again.
This sounds strangely like the Polkaroo. Does anyone else remember that show? You'd have to be from Ontario, I guess.
Of course, this means that Darwin is actually Necator.
Polkaroo provides an interesting lesson in critical thinking and deductive reasoning. As I recall, my kids did figure it out on their own after a while.
For those who missed Darwin Day, have a piece of leftover virtual cake: hthttp://picasaweb.google.com/th3obromin3/Shared/photo#5168156745625403810n3
